Works good – seems consistent in readings – be sure you put batteries in according to the imprinted image of batteries on the plastic cover – the picture in the instructions is a little hard to accurately interpret.
Accurate, easy to read, display options for right or left hand viewing. Compact carrying case with carabiner or option to wear on a lanyard for easy mobility. Also comes with protective silicone cover. Excellent for someone who must always have on hand.
Realized something wrong when my blood oxygen went down to 80%. Started needing oxygen 24/7, and went to emergency room w/pulmonary distress. This is easy to use and very accurate.
This pulse oximeter works great. Not only does it track your oxygen level and heart rate, the monitor indicates irregular beats such as palpitations. It is a useful inexpensive item for those with heart and/or oxygen concerns.
Does the job, seems to be very accurate as well (testing against facility equipment). My only complaint is that if the patient isn’t keeping their hand still it will take a while to get a reading, sometimes even fluctuates the numbers some. Besides those it’s great, lightweight, easy to clean and store in pockets, no long cords is another big plus.
I purchased 3 of them for a medium sized private practice medical office. I would recommend them to the more expensive ones, as this is a more cost effective option. I was able to give one to each of my medical assistants, rather than chasing around the 1200 dollar one we have.
I’m a busy family practice physician, and i’m very happy with this product. The numbers are far easier to read than those on my former pulse oximeter. Do yourself an enormous favor and spend a few extra dollars for this unit. It is far superior to those manufactured by other companies.
Shipped and arrived as stated. Worked right of the box, no adjustments, just use. It is working well and would purchase again if necessary.
- Great useful easy to use product
- Excellent Pulse Oximiter- Well worth a few extra dollars!
- Perfect for lung patient

Accumed delivers good value here. This device works reliably, the display is very bright and legible, and it’s easy to use. A feature i really like is the thin rubber shell that slips over the device: it should prevent damage from low-level drops. (i bought another pulse oximeter a few days ago: intermittent junk.
I got this because i was experiencing shortness of breath. It was showing a reading of mid 70’s to low 90’s. At my cardiologist appointment to address the same issue, i told my doctor about the readings. He explained that devices purchased from the internet often give false readings. He put this pulse ox on one hand and his on another. They both provided similar readings.
I’ve owned sever of these in different brands and this is one is the best one yet and it’s display moves automatically if you change viewing angles. It comes with a rubber cover but i found it uncomfortable to use. It comes right off and i’m all happy again.
excellent product, quick shipping and very easy to use. Comes with batteries, a crry strap and a holder with a silicon protective case. Put the batteries in and it works right away. Bought it to check on my son who has a 3 month illness and we needed it for him.
This device works very well, better than the ones the physcial therapist and nurse bring. Having had no experience with pulse oximeters i didn’t know quite what to expect. It is sturdy and quick at reading o2 levels. I’m very happy with my purchase.
This was purchased as a donation for a local non profit that provides free medical services to those in our community who are uninsured/underinsured. They have medical equipment that must be from the 1980’s, so i am sure they are delighted with your product. I can’t say for sure, but if you would like me to go in as a client and inquire, i can facilitate that. If they are pleased with the product, might you consider donating a few small items to them for their review of this item?.
Very pleased with this purchase. The delivery time was about the fastest i’ve ever received anything: i was surprised. For some time, i have owned another model of this device made by the same manufacturer. It performed flawlessly, so when a friend needed one, i volunteered to hunt down a current model. The display on these is the clearest of any of these types of devices that i have seen. He has vision problems sometimes, but that won’t be an issue with this oximeter. This line of oximeters seems very accurate. I’ve taken mine to my doctor’s office to compare and it has been an exact match. Also, mine worked flawlessly when one nurse couldn’t get a reading with hers. I’m very satisfied, would recommend this to anyone, and the delivery time could not have been beaten.
I have no idea why our family is so obsessed with this little monitor but we totally are. I ordered this to check my kid’s oxygen levels but it’s been fun for the whole family to check. Since it’s cold and flu season, we will get a lot of use out of it. It’s really easy to use and it’s pretty much ready to go out of the box. I love that it comes with a little pouch.
Has vertical and l/r horizontal viewing options – hr monitor is a really nifty feature, love the belt pouch. As an emt this is exactly what i need.
We bought this for my 88-year-old mother who has lung disease. She finds it very easy to use and to read. It has also given her an idea of how her results are in relation to how she’s feeling, and she will now have additional information to give to her pulmonologist at her next appointment. It’s a reliable monitor and it’s easy to use. There’s a comfort in knowing what her oxygen levels are and if they drop significantly, we’ll know what to do. She’s glad to have it, and so is her family.
Great product with a great great price. I purchased this pulse oximeter because people at my company keep losing them. This little thing works better than the company equipment. If you buy one of these keep an eye on it. It might walk-off it’s so tiny.
Works exactly as described and has been tested against the professional models used by my cardiac rehabilitation nurses. It is well built and the extra cover protects it when running around with it stuck in my pocket. One last thing: shipping was fast and in perfect condition.
So far i am happy with the way the product is performing and it was delivered as promised. However, in two weeks i have a doctor’s appointment and plan to compare it to the unit they have in his office. I feel that if both the pulse and oxygen saturation are within one number of the professional’s reading, i have a very good unit. After that, hopefully, i will still be satisfied.
Accumed cms-50d pulse oximeter finger pulse blood oxygen spo2 monitor w/ carrying case, landyard silicon case & battery (black)this is an excellent product, from the high-quality case and protective covering for the unit, to the device itself. In fact, on the day it arrived, a nurse friend of mine (who works for one of nyc’s top hospitals) stopped by and was impressed by the accumed name, telling me it’s the best brand i could have chosen. I had been advised by several of my doctors to purchase a pulse oximeter for home use (and to carry with me). The device is small enough to fit into the small handbag i carry and is extremely well-protected in the two ways described above. I am 100% delighted with my purchase but, even more importantly, feel safe now that i can accurately measure my oxygen level and pulse anywhere and anytime i need.
Accumed cms-50d pulse oximeter finger pulse blood oxygen spo2 monitor w/ carrying case, landyard silicon case & battery (black) as a physical therapist assistant doing home health visits, i use this pulseox on a daily basis. It works well, and after 6 months use, i still have to replace the original batteries. I would happily purchase this item again.
I purchased this product to have in the home for my elderly father whom has leukemia (all). He knows he is declining and has massive panic attacks and thinks he is not receiving enough o2. So i purchased the pulse oximeter to reassure him he is okay. I also use it to keep an eye on his heart rate since he also has congestive heart failure. Your product didn’t let me down. My dad is know back in the hospital safe and sound because the oximeter had proven to show me he needed help.
Takes a little longer to register than my old po but the display is easier to see in sunshine. Like that the display can be toggled in multiple orientations and that the preference view stays. I tried using it while running, but like any po it’s a bit bulky, but i can see it. (blue lcd much easier to see than red leds). Not good for trying to take a quick read on returning from the run.
I’m a full time emt, and this works every time. I sat on it once and crushed the screen, but like a phone if you can look past the crack it still works just fine. I also got another one as a gift and not only does the product work well, but the available colors are a nice option.
Let me first begin, i have been working in medical for a little over eight years now. Every now and then i need to do a manual bp. It’s nice to have a pulse ox around to catch the hr and o2 stat. And specially when doing a road trip to check a pt for desat. The package arrived faster than i expected. I checked the pulse ox to our calibrated machines. The readings were very accurate, only 2+ to 2- at most on hr and the o2 @ ra was both reading the same. It’s still brand new so i can’t speak for normal wear and tear over time. I haven’t had it long enough. But i am very pleased with my order.
Only issue was the back part covering the batteries somehow broke after installing batteries and i had to use electrical tape to attach the piece so it’s a little janky looking. As for accuracy, it reads fairly accurate but when compared to our facility’s pulsox’s it tends to be a couple numbers off on the o2 % but not always. Heart rate reads as accurate. Portable and small with an easy to read screen.
The day i received my new oxy / pulse sensor, my wife and i got our readings. Later, i was at a drs appt and pulse and oxygen levels were identical to those i obtained at home. This is a simple, compact unit, very accurate and i highly recommend it.
Would not recommend for frequent high volume use.
I like having my own oximeter since have a problem with my blood oxygen and now i can check it at home.
The pulse ox i use at work frequently on patients. Nothing can be add to that, it works.
A client of mine has to keep a unit like this with her when she exercises and i thought it would be a good idea for me to have one as well. The product performs exactly as described and is quite helpful in reassuring beginning exercisers that their pulse rate is not too high and despite their heavy breathing, they have plenty of oxygen in their blood. The company shipped the product quickly and all accessories described were included.
I actually got this for my spouse for a christmas gift. ) it works well, and it meets all of our expectations. We had a pleasant experience in terms of the product and in terms of getting the product in time and it was wrapped well when it was shipped to us.
This is a very interesting oximeter as its display shows a linear graph of the pulse. You can can actually see irregularity in the blood pulse. The device seem quit accurate, i tested it against the device in my doctor’s office and it matched fairly closely. The strap and the case are nice to have also.
