The accumed finger pulse oximeter seems to work very well. I had a brief medical issue and carried it with me. When at the dr it’s reading exactly matched the one the dr had. Anyway, seemingly a good performing product.
Seems to be good quality, gives a quick and accurate reading.
A good gadget, very accurate and easy to use i travel with it.
We receive the product very promptly. The product was just as it was described and his work for us as we expected. Very easy to use and easy to read the display is bright and the color of the numbers make it very legible. I would highly recommend this product.
My husband has emphysemia and uses this to monitor his oxygen level. Satisfied with this purchase.
Works great, however, sometimes the back comes off, hence four stars.
- but it’s good to know that my coworkers can now be counted
- I ordered two of these. One for my daughter
- Five Stars
Bought this for my grandmother for when we are on the road. Her older one is larger and more bulky and the the battery does not last as long. This pulse oximeter uses aaa batteries and is very easy to work. One button to push on and the same button to rotate the screen and turn it off. It is very easy for everyone to use (especially the less technologically savvy family members) and the numbers are large and bright enough so my family members do not need to use their reading glasses to see the screen.
I am a track & field trainer (sprinter) with master degree, fitness & body building professional. I do use very often this product to check on the pulse and spo2% on my clients and keep truck on their improvement and development of cardio-respiratory system. It is a very good product, works nice so far. Accuracy is very good compare with another professional device i do use in the office. The only improvement need to take place is the lanyard which is very low quality.
The screen contrast makes the numbers easy to see, it’s also easy to use.
The only complaint is have is the battery holder in the back falls off and the batteries fall out. It’s very accurate though and i use it often in the ed as a triage nurse.

IS A PULSE OXIMETER FOR YOU? While a Pulse Oximeter is not intended for medical use, it is the simplest and most convenient way to detect and monitor vital signs before and after any strenuous activity such as a workout at home or in the gym — or sports such as running, cycling, basketball or tennis. People who work in aviation or travelers who fly frequently need an oximeter to know if their oxygen level is dropping so they can take steps to bring it back to normal.
ACCURATE OXYGEN SATURATION AND PULSE RATE READINGS IN ONE DEVICE: The Pulse Oximeter fits all finger sizes from kids above four years old to adults as it measures the level of oxygen in the blood and reads the pulse rate in just eight to ten seconds.
Worked great-just what we needef.
This is a newer version of an accumed pulse oximeter i’ve been using for several years. It’s accurate, easy to set up and use (just put in the batteries), and the lanyard and case make it easy to take along when i exercise or travel. I have severe emphysema, prone to co2 retention, so it helps to keep tabs on o2 levels when i’m doing anything strenuous so i can take pre-emptive action (specific breathing techniques) before i run into trouble. There are a number of small oximeters on the market and they all operate on similar technology, so it comes down to the quality of the materials used and how it’s put together. Some are really junk — accuracy is whacky, the spring clip gives out, etc. This one is very good quality and built to last. I’ve been using it for several weeks, usually 2-3 times a day — more if it’s a heavy exercise day — and i’ve seen no issues at all. This one’s a keeper — solid 5-stars for accuracy and quality.
I use for work and i’m a nurse.
Large, easy to read numbers.
I’m amazed at how perfectly this oximeter works. It only takes a few seconds for it to register your pulse oxygen. Small price to pay for something that gives you peace of mind. I had double pneumonia and this oximeter came in very handy in recovery when i was sent home from the hospital. Small price to pay for peace of mind.
Measures blood oxygen and pulse quickly and accurately.
LOW POWER CONSUMPTION: Equipped with two AAA batteries, the oximeter automatically powers off when not in use and delivers up to 20 continuous hours of battery life.
Very accurate pulse oximeter.
I gave several of these to my coworkers. All of us are registered nurses and work on a busy medical-surgical floor. We constantly have a need to get an immediate pulse and o2 sat on our patients but running for a neuron machine is just not always practical. Even when we need to check a pulse ox and heart rate when we are ambulating a patient, on or off oxygen, having the accumed pulse ox is very handy and frees our hands in case the patient needs some support. Of course i have one of my own, but it’s good to know that my coworkers can now be counted upon to have one on them, too.
I took my time to find this perfect device. I like being able to check my o2 levels as i have asthma and the heart monitor on it is very helpful. My husband checks his vitals as well.
This pulse ox works fantastically, however, it’s back cover repeatedly falls off, especially when inserting it and removing it from the provided case. In order for me to use this item, i used gaff tape on the back to ensure that the cover stayed on. It obviously isn’t a perfect fix, but it does what i need it to do. If this is going to be a problem for you, i would suggest looking for another model. As a pulse ox, it works great, the charting abilities are fantastic and great for a quick reference when i am working in an ambulance. Although it should not be considered remotely as accurate as professional and high grade equipment, for a quick look and reference this will do great.
Professionals advised me to get one when i was released from the hospital.
I use this several times a day. It’s an important part of my routine and is quite reliable.
PORTABLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT: Weighing only 50 grams, every AccuMed oximeter comes in a convenient travel case that protects it from scratches when carried on its own or inside your gym bag or backpack.
Better than expected, great buy, allows me to monitor my breathing and o2 levels at any time. Accuracy within 2% of my dr.
Monitor your breath and heart rate, works quickly and helped us keep ahead of any set back.
This product arrived promptly in perfect condition. It is easy to use and is clear and easy to read. I’m completely satisfied with the quality and the price is reasonable.
Easy to operate, easy to read.
One for my daughter who is a nurse and the other for myself as i was having problems with my heart. It helped so much as i could tell the dr my pulse rate.
I believe this is the best investment you can make in an oximeter since the build quality is very good and the accuracy seems excellent. I highly recommend this product.
